Additional hardware won’t be necessary. You’ll use the zippers to keep your curtains down and securely in place.
If you decide to partially roll up your curtains just be sure to zip the curtains down to that point. This will prevent your curtains from moving or any damage to them in heavy wind.

Also, now that your curtains are in the down position and tied off to the cleat you can remove the extra cord. Simply refer to your install instructions on how this is done.
