Additional hardware won’t be necessary. You’ll use the zippers to keep your curtains down and secured in place. If you decide to partially roll up your curtains just be sure to zip the curtains down to that point. This will prevent your curtains from moving or any damage to them in heavy wind. The zippers and the weighted roll bar will keep your curtains snug and in place.

Also, now that your curtains are in the down position and tied off to the cleat you can remove the extra cord visible in your photos. Simply refer to your install instructions on how this is done.
